About Us
OUR STORY
The Building Busselton Town Team formed in 2019 and became an Incorporated Association in July 2021. We were born out of a desire to re-activate the heart of Busselton, enhance its vibrancy, and create interesting spaces the community loves, into which local businesses can grow organically. We've built networks and partnerships within the community and are part of the Town Team Movement, a non-profit social enterprise. Our team is composed of passionate volunteers who are dedicated to creating a resilient, connected, and sustainable place for current and future generations.

The Building Busselton Town Team's mission is to work with our community, businesses, government agencies, and other organisations to create activity in the heart of Busselton.

The team's strategic objectives are built on five key pillars to achieve our mission and vision and ensure long-term success:
- Activation by implementing events and initiatives that improve the vibrancy of the Busselton city centre.
- Empowerment, supporting individuals and businesses to develop their own projects.
- Championing the importance of placemaking in the city centre.
- Organisational & Brand development, building a sustainable membership and a positive brand identity.
- Fundraising, pursuing sponsorship and organising fundraising activities to support our mission and goals.
