Brings the Magic Back to Busselton

Proudly hosted by the Building Busselton Town Team, this free annual event is all about bringing the community together in the heart of the City Centre. Held from 4–7pm, the celebration transformed Mitchell Park into a joyful gathering place for families, friends, and festive folk of all ages.
A Night Full of Entertainment
This year’s program was packed with music, movement and magic:
“This event really sets the Christmas season into high gear,” said BBTT president Lisa Massey.
“With the cost-of-living pressure we’re all currently under, it’s a great free event for everyone to come together and celebrate.”
Family Fun & Festive Feels
From face and glitter painting to letter writing to Santa, there was no shortage of hands-on fun. Families could even grab a free Christmas portrait from talented local photographer Abby Murray — the perfect keepsake from a magical evening.
The Christmas Parade kicked off right at 4.30pm, with community members encouraged to dress in their most festive attire. The event also marked the first major activation of Mitchell Park since the redevelopment of Busselton Central — making it both a celebration and a symbol of the City Centre’s growing vibrancy.
Powered by Community
Funded by the City of Busselton, this event is just one of many initiatives run by Building Busselton Town Team — a volunteer-led group working to beautify and activate our town with purpose and pride.
